BPT has developed ProjectBPT, a software programme that you can download and install on your PC and use to design a wide variety of audio and video entry systems. The programme guides the user in laying out the installation, generates a list of the required components, an estimate, the specifications, a lay-out of the system, a list of the wiring and a list of materials. The prices of the various system components and the nearest service centres can be easily determined.
This application allows the user to prepare detailed estimates for audio and video entry systems and to print out the relative block diagrams.
Initial mask
The programme is based on a simple and intuitive graphics interface which can be learned in just a few minutes without the use of instruction manuals.
The application handles a number of common problems that face many companies, from the organization of catalogues/price lists, customer lists, in-house logic management systems for the development of specific products, as well as the management of discounts, promotional activities and foreign exchange.
A new feature is the total customization of the software and the possibility of entering any language (the product is utilized world-wide).
The internal development architecture is based on object-oriented programming (OOP), which facilitates maintenance and the expansion of the individual parts and makes updating simple and quick. This is important, since BPT constantly adds new equipment - whether product families or simple accessories - to its product range.
Data access is based on ADO (ActiveX Data Objects) logic in order to facilitate future development and integration with the world of the WEB - a first demonstration of this is the HELP area in the operating interface.
